眾所周知,鍛模的模膛是由鍛造工藝決定的,鍛造工藝的主要特征是模鍛斜度、過渡圓角和分模面以及田細工藝形狀,而目前通用的CAD/CAM軟件(包括POWER-SHAPE等軟件)都不是針對鍛模開發(fā)的具有鍛造工藝特征的專用軟件,因此造成了鍛模三維造型的復雜性,如果把鍛造工藝特性從鍛模的三維模型上分離出來,鍛模模膛的形狀就變得十分簡單了,把分離了工藝形狀的模型稱為鍛模的概念模型,有了概念模型,再在它上面添加上工藝特性,就可得到滿足鍛造工藝的最終形狀。在沒有專用鍛模三維造型軟件的前提下,建立概念模型這個理念就可以把三維造型條例化、步驟化,從而提高設計效果。
